CST Membership Fees

Full Member

Individuals eligible for membership in the Corporation must meet the following criteria: they must have an interest in furthering the Corporation's purposes; they must either be a doctor, scientist, nurse, or allied healthcare professional engaged in the field of organ donation and transplantation or a related field, or be a trainee enrolled in a relevant medical, nursing, or allied health professional training program. Additionally, their professional credentials must be recognized by the Board, and they must have applied for and been accepted as Members of the Corporation. Membership is granted on an annual basis and is subject to renewal in accordance with the Corporation's policies. As outlined in the Articles, each Full Member is entitled to receive notice of, attend, and vote at all meetings of Members, with each Member holding one vote per meeting. The cost for membership is $300 for medical doctors and $50 for all others.

Transplant Associate Member

Transplant Associate within the Corporation is open to individuals who meet specific criteria. Eligible candidates must have an interest in furthering the Corporation’s purposes but must not qualify for admission as Members. They must also fall into one of the following categories: employees or board members of not-for-profit or charitable organizations whose mission includes supporting organ donation and transplantation, organ procurement organization administrators, or hospital administrators with direct institutional responsibility for organ donation and transplantation. Additionally, they must apply for and be accepted as Transplant Associates of the Corporation. Associates shall not have any of the rights or obligations of Full Members and, for further certainty, shall not have the right to vote at meetings of the Members and shall not be considered Members within the meaning of the Act. The Board may suspend or expel Associates from the Corporation at their discretion. The cost for transplant associate is $50.
