Nursing and Allied Health Group

The Nursing and Allied Health group is committed to providing and supporting an interdisciplinary network among Canadian transplant health care professionals. Specific objectives are to:

  1. To connect nursing and allied health working in solid organ transplant across Canada.
  2. To provide a forum for nursing and allied health to share best practices in solid organ transplant.
  3. To promotes the professional growth and development of members via education, collaboration, and mentoring.
  4. To organize educational sessions for the annual CST meetings and interim education session throughout the year to discuss advances in field of solid organ transplant and transplant care.
  5. To promote excellence in clinical practice through nursing and allied health research.
  6. To provide opportunities for members to share their knowledge, research, expertise with colleagues across the country via education sessions, meetings, and online chats.
  7. To recognize excellence in nursing and allied health at the CST.

Membership

  • The nursing and allied health members are a Pan Canadian group of health care professionals who work in all areas of solid organ transplant.
  • Members of the Nursing and Allied health group must belong to, and are, members in good standing at the CST.

Become a member of the Nursing and Allied Health Group of the CST:

1. If you are an existing CST Member, login to your CST Profile and update your CST Group preferences by selecting Nursing Allied Health or send an email  to be added as a member of the Nursing Allied Health Group

2. If you are a non-CST Member, Join the CST and upon registration indicate that you wish to be a member of the Nursing and Allied Health Group.
