CALL FOR ALLIED HEALTH ABSTRACTS
1. The abstract can be submitted on any subject in the field of transplantation.
2. Abstracts must present a clear, concise summary of the work and should be 250-300 typed words.
3. Abstracts are to be submitted electronically by using the link posted below.
4. There should be no personal information in the abstract document. No names, addresses, hospital or lab information or any contact information.
5. The person submitting the abstract or his/her representative must be present at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the CST. The CST does not assume the costs of attending this meeting.
6. Those selected to present a poster or make an oral presentation will be contacted in December.
7. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
Allied Health Abstracts will be reviewed by both the Annual Scientific Meeting of the CST as well as by members of the Allied Health Group. Awards will be given to the best abstract in the following areas:
CST Associated Members Award for Transplant Patient and Family Education
This award recognizes innovation/best practices and development in the area of patient education materials, tools, programs or the delivery of patient education.
CST Associated Members Award for Research by Clinicians in the field of Transplantation
This award recognizes excellence in research that helps to add to our knowledge base.
CST Associated Members Award for Excellence in Clinical Care in Transplantation
This award recognizes the development /implementation and evaluation of current and progressive clinical care. It also recognizes creative approaches to clinical care.
