About the CST – ‘Leadership in Canadian Transplantation
The Canadian Society of Transplantation is the professional organization for physicians, surgeons, scientists and allied health professionals working in the field of transplantation. We currently have more than 600 members from across the country in all transplant fields, in clinical practice and scientific research.
The CST Annual Scientific Conference brings together CST members, representatives from transplant centres, allied health professionals working in the field, personnel from organ and tissue retrieval organizations and others from the Canadian and international transplantation communities.
Our conference is structured to incorporate the many diverse groups involved in transplantation in Canada:
the special interest groups (heart, liver, kidney, lung, pancreas, HLA, pediatric, pharmacists)
CORR – annual report
CST clinical and basic sciences sessions and abstract presentations
Industry sponsored Symposia.
Our many Committees are very active each in their special area: education, ethics, scientific program, communication, membership, policy, grants and awards, donation, basic science.
